Jazzy look don't you think?
Job history? What jobs have you had over the last 50 years?
After DHS my pops said I would probably have a rough career playing that trombone so I /he enlisted me in welding trade school following his footsteps sort of. I had a great career with 35 years of non-stop welding as I loved the trade and became very successful in the Pipefitters Union. Even in charge of jobs at the 11 million dollar level, only foreman status though.
Are you currently working, retired or somewhere in-between?
I have been retired since 2009, remember, I went from High School right into a professional trade so to speak. Very hard work, but as far as I am concerned it all paid off/literally.
Did you pursue any further education after High School?
No further education needed. I have two big brothers that know it all. Lol
What hobbies/interests/pastimes have you engaged in?
I created with my welding/metal working abilities a product I sold at street fairs and boutiques called The Horseshoe Cowboy. Sold over 9,000 of these statues. NOW playing my trombones (9) in a Swing/jazz band I created, volunteer at a rock band called "Shrine Inch Nails", another jazz band, and a church Orchestra called Purpose Church in Pomona Sunday mornings.
What city do you currently live in.....for how long? Where else have you lived?
Living in my Grandmas (mother side) home since 1980 when I bought it from my mother. Still Duarte boy all my life..... thus far. Close to City of Hope Hospital.
Over the last 50 years, what other cities/states/countries have you visited?
About 35 USA states, Canada, Europe, Mexico (all over)
Share with us your most memorable experiences of the last 50 years?
Cross country riding on my motorcycle (Honda Goldwing) with Special friends twice, and many 5 or 6 state tours also. Playing trombone with pros. Welding on high pressure natural gas pipelines without any bad incidents. Now if we go back a few more years, I'd say growing up in Fish Canyon with friends/classmates then Northview Junior High School, meeting more friends/classmates was something money can't buy. "Special Life long friends"
